To know your rights as a trademark holder is as important as to know your limits. When you exercise the protection over your registered trademark please bear in mind that you are NOT allow to prevent:
- A person commercially using his/her/its name
- A person commercially using his/her/its home address
- A person commercially using his/her/its work address
- A person commercially using applicability, compatibility or handling references of the product or service
- A person commercially using the product with the registered trademark, when it has been legally introduced in the market.
Of course there are exceptions to these limitations: when there is an intention to deceive, confuse or compete unfairly.
