Davos has a particular energy, you feel it in the hallways, in the coffee lines, and in the way strangers turn into sharp conversations in under two minutes. This year was my first time in Davos, and I could not resist doing a Flash Intangiblia ™ a episode. I walked through Davos asking one simple thing in different ways. What is AI doing to how we work, learn, and lead, and how do we keep it human?
In my video, “Walking Through Davos Asking AI Questions,” I interviewed five people with very different vantage points, and a surprisingly aligned optimism.
Who I interviewed
- Joarez José Piccinini, Chairman, Randon Bank and Institutional Relations Director, Randoncorp
- Tallis Gomes, Founder and President, G4 Educação
- Fisher Yu, Secretary General, GO TKM, Global Think Tank for Organizational Tacit Knowledge Management
- josu gomez barrutia, President, International Startup Association
- Mario Ceron, MBA, GRP ®, CECP ®, Managing Partner and CEO, Zereon Associates
What stood out in one optimistic thread
1. AI is a multiplier, it scales the culture you already have
You can feel a shared realism here. AI will not magically fix a broken process or an unclear strategy. It will amplify what is already happening, good or bad.
2. The human being stays at the center
Even in a room full of innovation, the most consistent message was about judgment, responsibility, and staying awake at the wheel. Not an outsourcing agency.
3. Learning becomes the advantage
Not just upskilling, but learning how to learn, how to question, how to test, and how to stay curious without getting lost in the hype.
4. Education is the pressure point
If students are already using AI daily, the real opportunity is teaching how to use it well. With ethics, context, and critical thinking, not just shortcuts.
5. Tacit knowledge matters more than ever
Some of the most valuable knowledge is not written down, it lives in experience, habits, and patterns. AI can help capture and structure it, if we design for meaning, not just speed.
A Thought to Take Away
“In a world of intelligent machines, judgment becomes our most valuable skill.”
