The film is included in the Dominican legislation as an audiovisual work with a special regulation on copyright.

Unless otherwise agreed the following applies to the authors and holders of audiovisual works (cinematographic as well):

• Coauthors: the director; the authors of the argument, the script and the dialogue, the author of the music; the drawer (if animation);
• The producer holds all economic rights;
• The director holds the overall moral rights, however, each coauthor has their respective rights upon their contributions; and
• The producer exercises the moral rights in representation of the other coauthors.
